ABOUT USA 10 Minute DocumentaryAbout our revamp of an abandoned adventure centre
We started by making and selling a few holds on Ebay in 2004. We kept getting messages saying 'we don't know how to install them!'. The Climbing holds tended to end up in a box unused. We then started to explore installing them and developed a rubber-backed climbing hold that could go on to bricks safely. After a few years we stepped up to installing Traverse walls at schools, using the safest methods available.
From about 2010 we started building freestanding timber Traverse walls, converting shipping containers and painting murals.
The founder always wanted to build a bouldering park, so setup a community interest company "Boatyard Boulders CIC". We run holiday clubs, scout evenings, graffiti workshops, alternative provision education and birthday parties. See www.boatyardboulders.co.uk
We're in a battle to keep kids active, bouldering, climbing and mural art are perfect ways to get kids excited about outdoor adventure !
Our aim is to get children enjoying the outdoors bymaking it more exciting than screen time
We are facing a real challenge to get children off their computers and engage with their enviornment. Climbing boosts confidence and helps spark an interest in the outdoors.

Climbing boosts confidence and gets children interested in solving technical challenges
Kids who do not enjoy team sports often excel at climbing, because it is not always the physically strongest or biggest that are the best climbers, but those who innovate and persevere
Our professional team is here to help you with any questions
With our experience casting parts for F1 cars we applied our design skills to creating products to make climbing more accesible
