Traverse Wall installations nationwide

UPDATE- We are in Northern Ireland from the 1st of April, so if we can squeeze you in there will be no extra charges as we are making the journey anyway.

All the holds can be repositioned, because we embed internally threaded sleeves into the wall, which means if the kids get bored of the existing routes, it can be changed around to make new challenges- Most Traverse wall installers simply do a permament fix (using strong adhesives and masonry fixings) which means the wall cannot be easily modified.

On the day of installation 85% of out time is spent installing the anchors into the wall, to give you a superior climbing wall which will last years. The remainder of the time is spent arranging and bolting the holds on the wall. An installation usually takes from 8am-5.30pm this can over-run therefore we would simply come back the next day to finish the job.

At £75 per linear metre-installed, we are up to 60% cheaper than some of our competitors and we will beat
any like for like quote. Most companies have a minimum order of 10 linear metres, but we understand not all schools have an area this large available so we have come up with a solution.

The fixed fee is £750.00 for all walls at or below 10 Metres in length (all inclusive, no tax or extras to add) but if you only have space to make a 7M wall we will just increase the volume of holds per linear metre. See table below. You are welcome to position the walls in different areas, perhaps to cater for different age groups.

A traverse wall below 2.2M height does not legally require safety padding or ropes.

Why are our prices so low?

We manufacture all our own climbing holds here in the UK in our factory in Nottinghamshire. Therefore because we are making large quantities of climbing holds we can pass this discount on with our traverse wall installations. In effect you would be buying direct from the manufacturer. Often the same people who made the holds will be installing the Traverse wall so you can have peace of mind we have the expertise to install them in the safest and best way to maximise the versatility of the wall. We are one of only two companies in the UK offering the new advanced rubber-backed climbing holds. These holds offer the following:

A) Improved grip on both smooth and rough surfaces.

B) Impact absorbing properties extend the life of the hold(s)

C) Rubber seal prevents water getting into the anchor point, improving durability.

We market direct- with no middle man. This means we can spend extra on a superior fixing system and add extra climbing holds (12 per linear metre instead of the standard 10.)

Site inspection and installation done on the same day.
If for any reason we can’t install a traverse wall there is no charge.

Our Holds are tried and tested on commercial climbing walls.

We use only the best fixing methods:

A) Specialist resin fix system where we embed steel sockets into the wall.

B) Hurricane Anchors imported from the US, used to secure property in storms and widely used in the US to attach climbing holds.

C) Grade 10 hardened steel M10 Bolts with countersunk head designed to fit perfectly with most UK climbing holds.

All of our fixings methods are designed for safety critical applications.

If for any reason the holds needed to be removed, the bolts can be undone using a M8 allen key (which we supply) . To re-attach simply bolt them back on again to the anchor points. This allows holds to be easily replaced, so the wall can evolve over time with new holds or the existing ones re- arranged to create new challenges.

We will install anywhere in England, Wales, Scotland and for Northern Ireland all we do is add the ferry fee and a £50.00 charge (So just add +£200 to your wall price). UPDATE- We are in Northern Ireland from the 1st of April, so if we can squeeze you in there will be no extra charges as we are making the journey anyway.

We will also do installations anywhere in Europe but these would need to be quoted on an individual basis. We see the oppertunity to travel as a bonus rather than a hinderance so we will only charge the actual extra transport costs.

For any school that purchases one of our Traverse walls we offer a 10% discount on orders for new holds for 2 years after installation. At the time of print we are the only company to have such an offer. We will also be starting a low-cost maintenance service in the coming months so with just one call you can book us to come back and do the following.

A good quality traverse wall installation will need very little maintenance so this service will not be required for sometime. Our estimate is that it will not be required during the first year of use and then once per year thereafter.
